Attention SGHS Seniors and past SGHS Graduates: Scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching. You can find all scholarship applications on our school website under the guidance tab. There is a drop box inside the front door of the school for completed scholarship applications.
As ordered by the Governor, the school will remain closed through April 10th. Classes will continue online and breakfast/lunch will continue to be provided for those who need it.

Kids can now access wifi from our parking lot! While kids still can't enter the building, they are more than welcome to work from their vehicles if they are in need of wifi. Mr. G has tested it and says it works best from the west end!

All school activities will be cancelled through April 13th. This includes prom, sports, concerts, field trips, etc.
The spring session of Adult Ed is also cancelled. Thank you for being patient with us through these uncertain times.
School Closure Update: Please start checking Google Classroom on a daily basis for your assignments. Please email your teachers if you have any questions about your homework. School Closure update:Breakfast & Lunch
The school will provide breakfast and lunch to any student that NEEDS this service over the next two weeks. If you have a student that needs these services, please call the high school today, March 16th by 3pm so we have a count of how many meals will need to be made for the next two weeks. You will be able to pick up meals starting tomorrow, March 17th between 11am- 12pm. Breakfast for the next day will be included in the lunch you pick up each day. Example: breakfast for March 18th will be included in the lunch you pick up on March 17th.

We will soon announce a time when students can come get their belongings/ homework/ chrome books etc... Until then please do not return to school.

School is cancelled for kids starting tomorrow, March 15th. Teachers still need to report to school at your normal time for a meeting.
Governor Bullock directed Montana's public K-12 schools to close starting tomorrow, March 16 until March 27. During this time, schools will engage in planning to provide arrangements to provide free meals to students who need them, pursuant to a waiver obtained from the United States Department of Agriculture, and to provide for all other matters and services that students need in the event of future or ongoing closure. Schools will continue to receive all state funding during this two-week closure.
Dear Parents, Students, and Staff of SGCHS,
We have been working closely with Public Health to take the necessary precautions at school, in regard to our state's response to COVID-19. We understand the concerns and questions that you may have. At this time we are asking students and staff to please stay home if they are sick, especially if they have a fever and/or cough, shortness of breath, or other respiratory symptoms.
Our goal is to keep the school healthy. I will continue to assess each individual as they report signs and symptoms of illness, and will be erring on the side of caution as when to send students home from school. Our Public Health Nurse, Jennifer Chappell, and I remain in contact as we are working together to provide you with the most recent information as it becomes available from MT DPHHS. It is always our priority to keep the health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff first and foremost.

The district music festival has been postponed until further notice.
The MHSA has canceled the remaining games of the state basketball tournament. There will be no games on 3/14. The pep bus will not travel to Butte on Saturday.
The MCTM Math contest has been cancelled.

Today, March 13th- The bus will leave for Butte @ 1pm.
Tomorrow, March 14th- If the girls win the bus will leave @ 3pm. If the girls lose the bus will leave @ 6am.
