
BASKETBALL IN JOLIET ON 1/5/21
The buses will leave at 1pm. Game Times- Girls JV (3pm), Boys JV (4:30pm), Girls Varsity (6pm), Boys Varsity (7:30pm). Joliet allows 2 visiting spectators per athlete. Coaches will be handing out passes to participants at this evenings practice. Videos of how to enter Joliet's gym will be posted soon.

HOLIDAY BREAK UPDATE!!
Last night the school board voted to allow students to be released for the holiday break on Friday, Dec. 18th @ 3:30pm instead of Tuesday, Dec. 22nd. There will be no school from Monday, Dec. 21st - Friday, Jan. 1st. Students will return to school on Monday, Jan. 4th as previously planned.

The Christmas concert will be next Tuesday, Dec. 15th @ 1:30pm. The concert will be closed to any spectators, but there will be a live stream on Facebook. The video will then be posted on our website for those that cannot watch on Facebook. This concert will have the 5th-6th grade band & choir, junior high band & choir, high school band & choir, and Sweet 16 and Jazz Band.

REMINDER!!
The winter sports meeting will be tomorrow, December 3rd in the high school gym at 7pm! This is for anyone that is participating in Basketball, Cheer, or Wrestling.

Senior baby pictures are due by this Friday, Nov.13th. You can bring them to school or email us a jpeg to journalism@sgchs.com


Just a reminder that students will be dismissed from school on Monday (Nov. 9th) and Tuesday (Nov. 10th) at 1:30pm because of parent/teacher conferences. The buses will be running at that time.

The winter sports meeting will be December 3rd in the high school gym at 7pm!

PARENT/ TEACHER CONFERENCES INFO!!
Parent/ Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 9th & 10th. Because of the recent spike in quarantining that SGCHS has had to do, we will be conducting Parent/ Teacher conferences virtually. Please check your email for instructions on how to sign up for a time slot with a teacher. If you did not receive the email, please call the high school and we will make other arrangements to get those instructions to you.


Remote Students: Check your email for a google form from Cindy Bainter for signing up for meals for next week. If you are going to be back in school next week, just ignore the email. Pick up instructions are in the email. Due by noon on Friday, Nov. 6th. Meals are free!
