Dental Program at schools

Post Date: Oct 30, 2018

Your child’s school has been chosen to take part in a cavity-prevention program, sponsored by Big Timber Family Dental. It is part of a statewide effort to improve the oral health of children. As you know, a healthy mouth is part of the overall health and wellness of your child.

With your consent, Dr. John Wilson from Big Timber Family Dental will be visiting your child’s school on Friday, 11/16/18. These services are available to ALL children at no cost to families.

Services provided:

~ Limited Dental Exam – We visually evaluate each child’s teeth.

~ Sealants – We place a thin tooth colored material over back teeth to prevent cavities from forming.

~ Fluoride Vitamins – We coat each tooth with minerals that help make them stronger and protect them from decay.

~ Temporary filling – We place a temporary filling over decay to prevent it from getting worse while waiting to be treated in a dental clinic.

If you have any questions about this program, please call Big Timber Family Dental at 932-5919.

Permission slips can be picked up at the high school office, and need to be returned no later than Friday, 11/9/18
