Just visit the sites which seem most appropriate for you and find the scholarships for which you are a good match. Montana Community Foundation

Qualifications vary widely resulting in scholarship eligibility for a diverse range of students. For more scholarships, student can begin applying online January 1; with the closing date for applications begin March 18.

Available to high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and participation in one qualified sport.

Amount: $1,000 State Winner and Two National $10,000 Winners

Available to any high school senior who is a U.S. Citizen, currently enrolled in an educational program.

Elks Most Valuable Student Competition

Available to any high school senior who is a U.S. Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.

Pheasants Forever Scholarship

Eligibility:

-3.0 GPA or higher
-Pursuing a career in conservation, natural resources, environmental education, conservation law enforcement, biology, or a related field at a institution of higher education in the State of Montana. 
-Demonstrate leadership skills and motivation to participate in extracurricular activities
-Demonstrate a commitment to and passion for conservation and improvement of wildlife habitat

Montana State Golf Association Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has been involved with golf. See Mrs. Todd for a scholarship application.

Eligibility 

  1. -MSGA Handicap Index (aka MSGA Membership)
  2. -Entering their freshman year of college and be a resident of Montana
  3. -Submit an official copy of their High School Transcript, a recent photo and a completed application


Hagan Scholarship Foundation

Nationwide need-based merit scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements 

3.5 GPA or higher, must score a 23 or higher, must enroll at an eligible four year college or university, must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year, must complete the FAFSA in 2018 and EFC must be less than $6,500.

Reach Higher Montana Scholarships

To qualify, applicants must be:

  • Montana high school seniors.
  • Montana residents who graduated from a Montana high school and are currently attending a Montana college or university.
  • Planning on attending school at least half time.
  • Maintaining a 2.5 grade point average (GPA).
  • Submitted the FAFSA for the 2019-20 academic year
