Course Description:

Earth Science will involve the use of the metric system to express ideas in a standard method. The use of the scientific method will be given as an approach to solve problems. The students will learn about geological principles such as plate tectonics, mapping and rock mineral identification. Also the student will learn about Astronomy and Oceanography. Other areas of concern will be the safety of the environment, the use of recycling, and local features that have been effected by geological processes.
