Course Description:

This course is designed to help students understand the role of business in a free enterprise economic system. It provides principles, concepts and understandings for the preparations of individuals as effective citizens, employees/employers, and consumers participating in the American free enterprise economy. Participation in the Stock Market Game and Montana Business Challenge is also a part of the class. There will be an emphasis on “student-owned” businesses throughout the semester with advertising, inventory, employees and business set-up.
