Course Description:

This course will give students the opportunity to apply their art talents while learning the features of a computer graphics program and photography. Topics in this project-based course include using the paint tools, working with objects in the draw layer, the effective use of color, perspective drawing, and three-dimensional figures. Projects could range from drawing a cartoon face to applying the principles or perspective in designing a cityscape. It would also integrate visual art concepts and technology with the goal of communicating effectively to an audience. Students will analyze, interpret and evaluate works of art using a responding process and create a portfolio of their work. Through class and community activities, students will explore related careers, assume leadership roles and will practice employment skills.

Two semesters of Art classes are  prerequisites of this class.
