Course Description:

Chorus is a class in the fundamentals of singing. Group and solo singing techniques are both taught, as well as music literacy skills. Choir usually presents four concerts per year (Fall, Holiday, Pre-Festival, and Pops), as well as performing at District Music Festival in the spring. Students who are enrolled in at least one semester of choir, whether spring or fall, are eligible to audition for Sweet 16 (auditions held in early September). Sweet 16 is an auditioned, extracurricular choir which rehearses once a week and performs numerous times in the school and community throughout the year.
