Animal Science I is designed to provide the student with a basic general understanding of animal agriculture. Topics covered include: the origin of livestock, animal breeds, basic meat science, basics of animal husbandry, basic nutrition, basic genetics, animal anatomy and physiology, animal selection, diseases and careers.
