Avalanche Awareness

With winter just around the corner, the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center will present a lecture on avalanche safety. The presentation will briefly touch on identifying avalanche terrain, recognizing weather that contributes to avalanches, being aware of potentially dangerous snowpack conditions and what to do if you, or a partner, are caught in an avalanche. All are welcome.
